Quality Management

  • Siara textile believes that quality of yarn is not a fix standard process, because raw material of yarn is natural fiber. It is a continuously vigorous effort at each stage of production process to improve & sustain the yarn quality.
  • Siara textile lab is equipped with most modern instruments of USTER for complete testing of process from fiber to end product cone yarn. Each meter of cone yarn is online monitored by USTER QUANTUM 2 before dispatching to our customers.
  • Our testing system monitoring the quality from cotton selection to final packed yarn can be divided in three steps

1st Step (FIBER TESTING)

The most important component that determines the final quality of finished yarn is cotton fibres. Technically sound cotton sourcing divisions, procure highest standard quality cotton from the best cotton crop areas.

  • Each cotton lot before procurement is tested & approved by quality department.
  • At cotton arrival each lot is tested by Uster HVI 1000 classing and Uster AFIS PRO & stored in the ware house as per results.
  • The cotton is selected for processing on the basis of grades & maximum no of lots on daily basis in such a way that we have homogeneous blend throughout the year which is the first step in ensuring the consistent quality.
 

2nd Step (OFF LINE TESTING)

The most important component that determines the final quality of finished yarn is cotton fibres. Technically sound cotton sourcing divisions, procure highest standard quality cotton from the best cotton crop areas.

  • In our second step we adjust all our process by testing the material on AFIS PRO and then carrying the adjustment on the basis of results.
  • All process testing is carried out by our standardized quality plan & if there is any kind of abnormality found the machine is stopped immediately until the problem is rectified.
  • Instruments used for off line testing (USTER TESTER -5 with all modules , AUTO SORTER-5, LEA STRENGTH MACHINE, WRAPPING REEL , WRAPPING DRUM, YARN BOARD, MAGNIFYING LAMP).
 

3rd Step (ONLINE TESTING)

  • Each of the cones being produced is checked at the winding stage by the USTER QUANTUM & the system is fed with our quality standards.
  • Any bobbin which does not fulfill the quality standards of IPI, CV, PC, CMT & hairiness is automatically rejected by the machine itself & winded in B grade production.
  • Instrument used: Uster Quantum Clearers with Quantum expert, Online clasimate, Computer aided yarn clearing (CAY), Contamination removal (FD-Channel)
 

Contamination Removal

Contamination is the major issue for the local & export customers. To fulfill the contamination level of our customer we have again three steps for contamination removal

  • Contamination removal department (CRD) where the process of contamination removal is carried out manually by trained female workers to sort out all type of contaminations like
      • jute
      • polypropylene
      • color cloth pieces
      • color threads
      • Feather of birds
      • Paper pieces
      • Yellow cotton
      • Hair
  • Two RIETER blow room line are installed with JOSSI vision shield in each line for removal of all type of above mentioned contamination.
  • Each cone before winding is monitored by USTER QUANTUM FD-Channel to remove any contamination left from previous two steps of contamination removal.

In this way we are struggling for the production of best quality yarn to fulfill the requirements of our customers by monitoring the each delivery point & each step of process which is involved in the production of yarn.
